Warrnambool council report goes before parliament tomorrow.
One of the other candidates for council vice-chair has called for the resignation of Mr Poulter.
The group leader for the UKIP South No더킹카지노rth West, Ian Wood, is a senior figure in the nationalist faction of Ukip, and has accused him of “favouritism” for a party in power on the city council.
At the weekend, Mr Poulter was also criticised for allegedly telling two teenage boys not to speak English.
They were given £50 by a local company to help them prepare for a job interview.
Mr Poulter denied using the children’s language but the men were banned from attending a training session on the council’s website until December.
Mr Poulter described the pair as “outraged and traumatised” but is likely to have been suspended until January.
A spokesman for his council said he was leaving after meeting all of the allegations, although he denied they were “fabricated.”
Speaking to the North West Today show on Sunday, Mr Wood said: “People were offended by them. There was no racial or sexual motivation.
“The situation came about because they heard his voice and one or two things got said and they were called out on it.
“What they want to do is stop the council running their own council and to make people pay for a government that is just pushing them.”
Mr Poulter defended the language-course course to the BBC, telling presenter David Willetts: “I’m in charge of our children, who understand English more than just most people I’ve met.
“And they can be just as upset if I don’t speak their language, if there’s a problem that’s getting put on the council agenda.”
He said he supported “any positive work to enhance their Engl바카라ish skills”.
Mr Poulter and Mr Wood faced a similar controversy in 2010 when they were suspended on the basis that some of their children were not being shown a traditional Christmas shopping programme.
They were told that because the children had not read to them in a traditional way, the council had concluded it would not be acceptable to take them to the show.
However,바카라 a council spokesman said that if the children had been given the full Christmas shopping programme “we would have no issue with it”.
